Through this initiative, we actively encourage the residents of Lethabong Village to participate in recycling by organizing regular rubbish pickup days. By raising awareness about the importance of recycling and providing the necessary infrastructure, we strive to create a cleaner and more sustainable environment for everyone. Together with the community, we work hand in hand to reduce waste and preserve the natural beauty of our surroundings.
In our commitment to responsible tourism, we actively pick up litter around the lodge and its surroundings every month. We’ve also implemented an anti-littering initiative and educate our team and guests on responsible waste disposal to preserve the African bush’s natural beauty.
Moreover, we have a comprehensive waste management system with separate bins for plastic, glass, and cans. By segregating these materials, we ensure proper recycling and disposal. We took a sustainable step over 10 years ago by replacing all plastic small bottles of guest amenities with durable glass bottles adorned with attractive labels, reducing our plastic waste.
